Follow along as I bring two Chevrolet 2 Ton Trucks back to life. I'll show you what I did to get them running and operating properly. Then we'll turn our attention to the cosmetics and make these trucks look AWESOME!!

These are pretty unique trucks because they can scissor straight up 16 feet, lifting 8 tons (16,000lbs) vertically. Then you can bring them back down, pull a couple pins and then it will become a dump truck and tilt the bed at an angle, dumping whatever is on the bed. Both trucks have stake pocket beds so that sides can be added for hauling things.

The beds are 20' long and each has 1 set of outriggers that can be put down in order to make them more stable. The uses for these trucks are endless, but most commonly they are used in the roofing industry to move materials and people safely to the roof on commercial buildings. Other uses are as mobile scaffolding to install gutters, soffits, siding, or other construction materials.
