This was made possible by ripping the music from the ROM in MIDI format using GBAMusriper and rebuilding the soundtrack from the ground up using a digital version of the original sound hardware that was used to compose the game, applying some modern mixing techniques along the way to lift the veil of 16bit compression and create an updated listening experience. Composed by Go Ichinose. Recreated by me. What makes this different from the regular restored version? This one sources its sounds from the Roland Sample CD collection rather than the sound canvas. The sound canvas samples were themselves compressed to save space on its tiny ROM just as the samples in the game are, but the CD releases allowed for the full quality patches to be stored.
