Gosforth Handyman | Restoring 100 year old doors - what’s hidden under the hardboard?? (part 1) @GosforthHandyman | Uploaded November 2022 | Updated October 2024, 4 hours ago.
It’s time to tackle the doors in our 1920’s renovation house. These are 100 year old doors and they’ve been covered up with hardboard panels for at least 50 years. Time to take the panels off to see what we have underneath! This is a 2 parter. Part 1 covers the initial door reveal and prep work. Part 2 covers re-hanging a door to open the other way and the final reveal of the finished, restored doors. Enjoy!
