I always thought resting my head on a porcupine similar to how you lay your head on a dog’s back would be cool. Until now though, I’ve always decided it wouldn’t be the best decision. On tonight’s walk in the woods with Mawenzi, she was calmly resting, and I decided to try it. She was totally ok with me doing it. In fact, she licked my hands a few times as we cuddled. So cool! (Obviously, don't try this at home...unless you have created a special bond with your own porcupine!)
