On August 16, 2018, we lost none other than the Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin. While she was never a huge inspiration of mine, I did enjoy her music very much, and I felt it would be a sin to just ignore her death. So I know it's rushed, and I know I can't compare to her singing voice on this song, but I wanted to do a cover of the only Aretha Franklin song I know, "Respect," to honor her memory. Aretha, I hope wherever you are, you're earning the R-E-S-P-E-C-T you deserve.

This song will not be up for download because 1) I don't wanna get sued/copyright claimed, because this is the original instrumental track I used (or at least one that's very, very VERY similar!) and 2) Because I feel as though it's wrong to profit off a person's death like that, hope you all understand :)

Part 5 of the Grand Romantic Project is finally here, and HOO BOY was this a tough one to edit!!!
