"The self-destruct sequence has been activated. Repeat: the self-destruct sequence has been activated. This sequence may not be aborted. All employees, proceed to the emergency car at the bottom platform."
After many years of not finding the underground lab escape alarm from Resident Evil 2 (1998 original) anywhere, I've went out of my way to record the laboratory escape alarm sound. The alarm sound is known for being solely integrated into the Underground Laboratory's escape music, which is why no one has been able to get a clean recording of the sound until now, thanks to me! I recorded the alarm sound in the cutscene of Leon or Claire's B scenario right as Birkin attacks the train in his final mutated form. For the first minute of the video, I've looped only the alarm sound for 1 minute. This would make a great alarm sound for your phone ringtone or alarm clock, etc.
The epic part starts at the 1:03 mark: the clean alarm sound, the self-destruct sequence announcer voice, the laboratory escape music, red siren overlay, and countdown timer together in one. Now get to the emergency car at the bottom platform!
