I've managed to find a copy of Resident Evil 1.5 AKA "What Resident Evil 2 was planned to be" and I've recorded some gameplay videos of it. Unluckily my copy is an alpha so it's full of bugs and errors, as you can see watching my HD video. Hope you'll like it!
My second and last video on RE 1.5 is focused exclusively on Leon Kennedy, the male character we all loved in the final version of the game too. His adventure begins on an helipad roof (Maybe it's the RPD roof, dunno) full of infected crows. Strangely in Leon's part there are rooms from different buildings linked each other: for example RPD chief's office is under the helipad, not in the center of the RPD station. Leon has a gun but its magazine is empty and the character has a strange way to run, seems that animations weren't completed in this build. Even though there are some objects in some rooms, picking them will trigger the climbing animation and after that you can only run at mid-air without any possibilities to leave the room in which you are. There are some cutscenes here too but voices are missing. There are two sub-bosses at the end of the video, but you can't beat them without at least some ammos, so you can just let them finish you to death.
