I wanted to write a story for each song on "Sampler Platter" and to be completely honest, this is the one I know is good, but I'm still on the fence about whether it was done justice or not. I’m a huge SZA fan; she’s definitely a *vocalist’s vocalist*. With her as the lead on this project, I really wanted this track to serve as the rising action leading into the middle stretch, from Track 6 to Track 10.
The original song and beat are already amazing, but I wanted to give it my own spin with a neo-soul vibe. I think it turned out pretty solid, and honestly, I’m beyond happy with how it came together.
