This week I got a package from Beau L. It contained a very interesting miniature from Dark Sword Minis. It's a really cool converted Tortle used for D&D. The idea for this rescue is to maintain most of the colors on this model, which has really seen better days, and fix him up back to his fighting glory! I go through the steps to fixing a model like this as well as restoring the paintjob. I really enjoyed working on this model and I hope you like the video!

If you would like to donate a mini to be rescued on the channel then please send me an email with the type of mini, pictures if you can, and a little bit about the history of the mini! Donations have become a big part of the channel and I want to do as much as I can to share the story and history along with painting your mini! I do ask that the minis be at least partially painted, something you may have gotten on ebay, or just something that you started and never finished, that way it fits the criteria of a "rescue." Unfortunately I cannot accept every donation, as much as I would like to, I just don't have the time to take on every project. That being said I do take on almost all of them, as long as they fit the theme of the channel I try and make sure to fit them into the schedule. CURRENTLY ACCEPTING - Single figures, small squads. No armies please, i wish I could, but I can't paint an entire army in a week.
Commissions are a big part of what keeps this channel going.I always try and be as fair and open as possible with each commission, and in most cases, make a video to go along with the job. Not in all cases, but many. The type of commissions I am interested in are of a "rescue" nature. So something that you have had laying around, or something that you started, or someone started and didn't finish. If you want something new then I am still interested but please understand that if it doesn't fit within the theme of the channel then it probably won't get featured in a video.
I do commissions for $15/hour plus shipping and supplies. I will also give you a free estimate that I will honor for 6 months from the date on the estimate. Thank you all again for your submissions, and helping keep the lights on here at EMR!
