"We were paddleboarding on a lake called Denezhnoye (Money Lake) and noticed a gull chick entangled in fishing nets, surrounded by adult terns—presumably its parents. While I freed the chick and filmed, my husband chased away the birds, who were worried about their stranded baby. After being freed, the chick refused to fly away, so we brought it to shore. The chick is perfectly fine, its wings and legs are intact, and once it's dry, it will be able to fly."
