The latest threat comes as hundreds have been killed in Wednesday's devastating floods, with more than 1,500 people still missing.

The Himalayan region along the Nepal-Tibet border faces fear of another flood after a dam reportedly collapsed.
This comes just two days after a deadly flood devastated the region.
According to AFP on Friday, Nepalese authorities noted that a dam on the Chinese side of Tibet had collapsed.
Nepal Police urged all security personnel and rescue workers involved in search and relief operations to remain on high alert and move to safer areas immediately.

"Everyone is being evacuated, and they are being taken to a safe location."

The fatal flood which struck on Wednesday has killed at least 469 people in Nepal, with more than 1,500 people missing.
Among those missing are more than 500 foreigners, from countries including the United States, the UK, and India.

"My brother should be rescued, I don't know how and where he is, he has been missing for three days."

Nepal Police said more than 1,500 people had been rescued from flood-hit areas as of Friday morning.
Nepal's Foreign Ministry on the same day stated that the country currently does not need assistance from other nations in its operations.
In the meantime, China has resumed rescue efforts at the Nepal-Tibet border after it suspended operations over fears that a newly formed lake could burst its banks.

Scientists have suggested that the disaster may be linked to the effects of climate change in the Himalayas, where rising temperatures increase the risk of massive glaciers and rocks collapsing.

It is believed that a glacier about 600 meters wide has collapsed together with surrounding rock, causing a magnitude 5.2 earthquake.
The resulting ice and debris are believed to have triggered severe flooding across downstream areas.
