In St. Louis, COVID-19 has taken more than 4,000 lives. Last fall, the community memorial “Requiem of Light,” planned for Forest Park, was forced indoors by threatening weather. Dozens of musicians took to The Sheldon stage. On April 23, “Requiem of Light” will return to Forest Park. The event will include original music, guest speakers and the ceremonial lighting of 1,500 lanterns around the waters of the Grand Basin.
