Repotting a Seed-Grown Desert Rose | Adenium Repotting & Root Work
There’s something extra satisfying about repotting a Desert Rose you’ve grown from seed! In this video, I’m giving one of my seed-grown **Adenium obesum** plants a fresh start with a new pot, fresh soil, and a little attention to that developing caudex and root system.
I’ll walk you through how I repot my Desert Roses, what I look for in the roots, how I position the plant, and why good drainage is so important when growing Adeniums.
And yes… I’m using one of my favorite little repotting tricks — a **cake decorating stand**! It makes rotating the plant while positioning roots and filling the pot ridiculously easy.
