Replays are an incredibly powerful new feature in the latest version of Adobe Character Animator CC, and this tutorial walks you through the basics of how they work. Select and right-click any set of takes in your timeline to turn them into triggerable on demand actions. From waves to head nods to dance moves, Replays open up a ton of new creative possibilities to add dynamic performances to your characters for both live and recorded projects.
In this video we'll run through a sample project that teaches the basics of creating and triggering Replays, and then take the Chloe example puppet and add several custom Replays to her. Along the way you'll learn about the "when trigger ends" parameter, adding Arm IK for more reliable arm poses, and tips about blending and arming takes.
