Waterfall Acrylics | REPLAY— Impromptu LIVE Fluid Art Demo!! Amazing Bloom Blowouts! @WaterfallAcrylics | Uploaded October 2022 | Updated October 2024, 7 hours ago.
#sheleeart #fluidart #livestream
Hi all! This originally started as a live fluid art demo on Facebook for my Patreons, but the sound quality was poor so we hopped over to YouTube so everyone could watch! These are two 12 X 24 canvases with the SheleeArt recipe, blown out chaos-style and then spun in my puppy pool. I think I got some really cool results; the second one though is something special! So much fun getting to chat with everyone—thanks so much for tuning in!
HUGE shout out to my Patreons! Katherine, Lorrie, Barbara, Christine, Lori, Vicki; Barbara B., Carol, Anna, Jax, Jane, Allison, Angela, Carly, Dianne; Lori W., Sparkle, Simona, Peggy; Tricia, Angela D., Tamison, Elise, Reeny, Judy, Feathers, and Amy! THANK YOU so much!
If you would like to join our Patreon group you can sign up at the link below. Depending on the tier level, you'll receive creating exclusive videos, lessons, learn how to create custom colors, learn how to create mixed media pieces, resin tips, and get to join our private Facebook group!

Colors/Brands/Pouring Medium Recipe:
House Paint-base aka puddle for the substrate:
PPG Multi-Pro in Eggshell.
Pouring Medium aka PM Recipe—mix with all colors EXCEPT the cell activator:
Behr 8300 Untinted Deep Base Paint (Home Depot); JoSonja Gloss Varnish 3:2 ratio paint to varnish. Mix well.
Brands/Colors mixed:
This Little Piggy (TLP) pigments in Fairy Floss mixed with two drops of Golden Quinacridone Magenta for a darker hue; Golden Iridescent Gold Bright; Alizarin Crimson Hue, and Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold.
Golden, Atelier, and Da Vinci Fluid Acrylics: I put about 2-2 1/2 ounces of the pouring medium into a 3 ounce cup, then squirt in color until I reach my desired shade. Mix well.
For tube paint, I added an ounce of paint (heaping tablespoon) to a 3 ounce cup, then added 2 ounces of pouring medium. If still thick then I'll add a teaspoon of varnish/water to thin. (I make a bottle of "JoWa" by adding 1/3 JoSonja Gloss Varnish and the rest water, and keep it in a squeeze bottle and use as my "water.")
All pigments are 1/8th tsp. pre-disbursed with a small amount of JoSonja Varnish to wet it (stir really well), then add into a 3 oz. cup of Pouring Medium; stir well.
Cell Activator Color:
Australian Floetrol + Amsterdam Oxide Black. 3:1 ratio Floetrol to paint.
