A pleasant little video repairing walnut veneer on a vintage dresser from the 1920's/ 1930's era.
The basic premise is to use a CA style super glue that is highly viscous with a matching piece of veneer. Once a firm bond is established scrape the existing veneer with a razor to make a fine dust. Deposit the dust in to a fresh bed of super glue and allow to dry.
Scrape and sand carefully as to not burn back through the layer of veneer. Clean surface and stain or finish as needed.
Be careful when using CA/ Superglue and sawdust as both materials are highly combustible when combined.
