While browsing eBay I came across a broken CDJ2000 NXS2 for cheap. The damage was more extreme than I thought, but I used my mediocre soldering skills to bring it back to life and save a ton of money. In this case, the DWX3702 (PNLB) board was nearly cracked in half.

You too can fix these kind of issues if you take a little bit of time to investigate the two things that all electronics need... Power and data. Once you can make sure the power and data are getting to the right spots, everything should work :)
