I love anything xbox so sometimes I buy cheap untested or parts or repair items from ebay. Sometimes I come out ahead but sometimes you may just end up with the dreaded red ring of death or red dot of death like I had here in this special edition halo reach console. This is my how to fix rrod.
Individual results may very and only do this if you have knowledge of electronics. This is a last resort effort to repair a broken xbox only.
