Repair #2: Nintendo DS
Well, even though I'm not really into computer games I just couldn't resist the Nintendo DS back in the day... I got a bit of money left over and it looked awesome for the time, so I had high hopes. The games were a bit of a letdown to me - my favorite ones are after all Tetris and Doom; but I couldn't cope with the controls of the average DS game: everything 3D was controlled left/right from the POV of a moving camera. i.e. you would randomly spiral out of control with the character because the camera started to move to "capture the action" and thus redirecting your control input into random different directions.
