Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif., asked Office of Science and Technology Policy Director Michael Kratsios about reports that suggested funding may be getting directed away from the science agency, and specifically a detail that nearly $1 billion in congressional appropriations to NSF is being expropriated from the agency and used for a $1.5 billion project backed by OSTP.
