Hi friends, so we got a pleasant surprise this past Saturday in Dallas. Lisa Loeb is a Dallas native and was in town visiting family. She called the afternoon of our show to say ‘hi,’ one thing led to another, and she ended up on stage with us. Lisa knew ‘Keep On Loving You,’ and told me she played it in her band Nine Stories, with Dweezil Zappa on guitar (check out her live video, it is very cool, and Dweezil nails the Richrath solo). Lisa Loeb and I worked up a quick duet in the dressing room and performed it that night at the Dos Equis Pavilion. I love winging it, last-minute collaboration is fun and exciting. It keeps us young. My wife Lisa was with me, so both Lisas came out and sang with us on the keep on rolling refrain…big fun!
