During the summer of 2001, the WYD-Eye Film Unit filmed a comedy called 'Rendezvous', written by Michael Brennan and directed by Paul Power. It's the story of how the lives of two ordinary guys are linked and was filmed on location around Waterford. Other crew included Sinead MacCarthy, Maura MacCarthy, Angela Cullinane,Brendan O'Brien, Dean Carroll and Robert Jackson. The film starred Sarah Blanc,George Carpendale and Ben O'Shea and a host of others.
