After 2 years and obtaining better hardware, I've decided to re-record the VHS footage of my Render96 playthrough with my new Panasonic Omnivision PV-V4602 4-Head HI-FI Stereo VCR. The video aspect ratio is now in proper 4:3 and the overscan is cropped.

The video quality has been slightly improved thanks to the new VCR and I've also color corrected the video in post so it isn't as dark as it was previously.

For those who may ask why the footage is still in 60fps, VHS videos can be in 60fps if you de-interlace the footage which is what I did before and did again now.
