While driving around town you have any number indicated on the cruise control and you are stationary at lights then press the cruise control button the car will immediately drive forwards at pace without any input from the pedals. Most cruise control system have a minimum speed to attain before engaging.

This is especially dangerous if there is a car or pedestrian up front and you accidentally press the wrong button to try to change modes.

This only happens when Auto handbrake is on and the cruise control has previously been set to a speed. This would happen if you have just come off a motorway into residential areas.
