Of course, this is just a snippet of a longer video I’m wanting to put together sometime soon about my antique Royal 10 typewriter, and this is the first time I’ve seen a metal ribbon spool. It’s all original and I’m learning how they work as I go, keeping my hands clean with gloves as I wind off the ribbon to keep it safe. I didn’t bin it, but chose to keep it as it is the original ribbon and I want to keep it intact as possible.
