Some interior doors way have a bevel on the sides to allow more room when opening and closing. I need to remove the bevel to use the door as a pocket door where it is not needed. A bevel on a pocket door will not line up on the jamb properly when opened and leave a gap on one side when closed. Apogee planer is a great tool for the job and has many other uses not with just doors but trim, cabinets and other woodworking projects.
