My previous tutorial had banding despite my efforts to remove it. I explored it further and decided to share my findings.

Banding usually happens when there are some subtke gradients which could happen when applying actual gradients, 3D comps with lighting or when Glow is applied in one form or the other.

There are a number of ways around it, but I will be talking on how I eventually eliminated banding in my previous comp - though this was after the fact for the tutorial.
