WARNING - The drill battery in the circuit diagram is drawn backwards by accident. The plus sign beside the drill battery should be a minus and the minus sign beside the drill battery should be a plus sign. That means some of the red and black lines should reverse colors too. The black lines going to and from the drill motor should especially be red for clarity, just as the red line going to the source should be black for clarity. Everything else in the video, including how the circuit is ACTUALLY wired up and the MOSFET explanation is correct. Unfortunately (or fortunately) there have been so many useful comments that I'm reluctant to remove this video.
