7 Toyota Landcruiser and one Ford ranger tackling 3 Deserts Cross Country. In Part two of our Tirai, Simpson and Strzelecki Desert 4wd adventure we make it into the Tirari Desert and skirt around Lake Eyre towards the Warburton Grove and River. Some of the claypans prove to be quite soft and provide a problem for some of the less modified vehicles with less suspension travel like the 70 Series Landcruisers. Dave manages to get the big 200 Landcruiser bogged in a dry river crossing and a triple winch recovery is required to pull the vehicle back out and Rick go properly stuck in mud on one of the various clay pans we needed to traverse.
