a half decent winter saw alot of snow fall on this mountain and give one of the best ski seasons in years. In late March I camped here to check snow depths, the returned to check up in April but was beaten back by storms and blizzards. Now , in the middle of summer and a few days after the longest day I wanted to see if any of the snow had remained. It was a rather wild and windy day and finding any possibole snow patches was going to require careful navigation ! PS Please read disclaimer at bottom - getting to these snow patches can involve rough and difficult terrain and should only be undertaken at your own risk and assessment.
