For GMV Awards: CANON. Well, the video tells a story about how empty Cloud feels after the events of VII. He's trying to continue living his life, but the death of Aerith keeps haunting him; he doesn't know his place in the world anymore, and the memories keep coming back. I have to note that this video has many moments that aren't actually "canon", like the flower scene and so, but the idea and the story are quite strongly linked to VII.
The reason why I think Clerith as "canon" is because Cloud clearly cares for her deeply in VII (and AC), and I'm not talking about the dating mechanics. In this video I tried to capture those feelings and show how much he cared for her; how important part she played in his life. And how, in the end, he was able to live on after knowing that she will always be there with him. (Just like in the end of AC.)

Well, I put this together kinda quickly, and it still took more time than I'd have liked. YT also ruins the quality, once again, but I hope that won't turn you off... The story behind this vid is simple; it's simple ;D Cloud's just living his life, while still being in pain after losing Aeris. (Ain't that a brilliant story! 8D Now gimme me my screenplay Oscar!)
And I don't think I have to say this, but I WAS INSPIRED BY CLOVER27'S WORK! HA! THIS IS MY COUNTERATTACK (I was going to make a Vani/Aqua vid first, but inspiration hit me hard after hearing this song), WHAT WILLYOU DO NOW, BELLA?! 8D I'll do that Vani/Aqua vid next time...

Seriously, words arent enough when it comes to my feelings towards this video. The problem is, that Im more a story writer than a vidder, so the story behind this vid just - became - way - too - massive to be told in a one video... D8 This feels like a simple summary instead of a working story, and all the characters and relationships are way too one-dimensional in this vid.
The biggest problem is, that since I was struggling with the story, the whole video suffered because of that. So please, forgive my weak maskings and such in this one... Gah! Ill definitely turn this into a fanfic (altough I cant write XD) so I can tell the whole story...
Anyway, besides that, I hope the story is easy to understand~ Haha, I know many people hate subtitles, but you just have to bear with them now, sorry~ XD Im an evil person.

I seriously need a new intro
So, here it is. My brand new Cleris amv that some of you may have already been waiting. FaylinnNorse requested this long time ago, and Im deeply sorry this took so much time! The truth is that I lost the original file around Christmas. It hurt like hell but I soon started to make a new one. And now Im happy about it since this ones better than the original. So... Enjoy! And please forgive my grammar errors...
Oh, and please forgive my crappy masking Dx I was in a hurry.
NOTE: After this I wont have much time for vids since I must study for my finals. So dont wonder.
Story:
As you soon find out, Clouds the dead person in this. I wanted to try something new and I already had the story in my mind~ But Im not too happy with this vid. It has some weak parts since I didnt simply know what to do. The story isnt so massive and I didnt want to cut the song too much *sigh*
Oh, and lyrics of the song represents Clouds pov~ I guess...
So, Ill put the story here since I didnt use chronological order in the vid. (Clips with white borders are supposed to be flashbacks) Sorry it sucks, the story I mean.
They were happy.
He belonged to the SOLDIER, she was enjoying her life while selling flowers on the streets. They met first time when he came to arrest her, since he had heard some information about her being a part of the rebellion. But since it wasnt correct, he apologized shyly and begged her to forgive him. She saw how gentle person was hiding behind the tough mask.
She saw into his heart.
And she fell in love.
They started to spend more time together, getting to now each other better. They were enjoying life, she even invited him to her church - to her beautiful heaven. Their secret place was a flower field near the town. They sneaked to meet each other there almost every night. And then they shared the moment of beautiful lovers - a gentle, loving kiss. Soon they were deeply in love and he proposed to her. She couldnt wait to get married - to spend the rest of her life with him!
But like many times in mankinds history, war ripped their world into pieces. He had to leave and take part in the battle. And she promised to wait, to cheer for him until hed get back. He promised he would.
But he didnt.
By being shot, he fell to the ground, while thinking of her and how he WOULD get back to her. And the next time they met, she was kneeling next to his coffin, saying goodbye to her lover. She would wait, wait until theyd meet again.
Luckily she wasnt alone, she had precious friends like Tifa, who were there for her. But they didnt understand her. Time after time they said she should move on. But she didnt want to, not in the way they wanted. What they couldnt see was how happy she truly was. She had her memories of him. She knew he was still there with her. Why should she do like all the others? Why would her story have the same ending? She knew she shouldnt stick to the past, but she wanted to. It wasnt like she couldnt let go.
But she just didnt need anything else, she still enjoyed life. None was able to see that. But she didnt care, she was still waiting.

This is a collab with indigobynoir and after few months (of school business) its finally ready! Or actually she made her parts really quickly while it took me over weeks to finish anything xD I deserve to go hell for making her wait so long...
And I love this. Or actually her parts cuz mine are just big bunch of overdone mess! *laughs* Its true! But I had really fun and I learned new tricks too. The song really was kinda difficult but the lyrics helped a lot~ And did I mention how I love indigobynoirs parts? The ending she made (with that absolutely beautiful speech, hurray for Shakespere!) made me cry! My God, Im so happy we made this. I dont even know what to say anymore, Im left without words.
But one thing, Thank you much indigobynoir!! It was an honor to be your partner! Cant wait for another collab~
