The 2026 National March for Life is dedicated to Francis J. Barrett, a man of God, service, and a deep love for children, born and unborn.
After retiring from the RCMP, Frank trained to become a professional Clown, bringing joy, laughter, and hope to countless patients and their families at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Hospital for many years.
In 2017, he successfully had the pro-life flag raised at City Hall on the day of the March for Life. Even though the flag flew for only a few hours before being taken down by city officials, the fiasco sparked media attention across the country.
Frank was thinker, a do-er, and a pray-er for all God's children.
