Grand Prix Race-O-Rama was a staple in Broward County entertainment, especially the go karts, the "world's largest arcade." Grand Prix moved to Dania Beach, Florida in 1986. It eventually went corporate and became "Boomers" in 2001 and officially closed in 2015. Today the land it sat on has been turned into Dania Pointe, an outdoor shopping area.
South Florida remembers Grand Prix.
