Finn and Jake don't interrupt the song. Simon is singing the right notes.
After messing with the audio for karaoke & isolated vocal versions, I thought it would be nice if there was a version where Ice King was in tune, singing the right notes, harmonising with Marceline properly. I find it a bit annoying to listen to the song with Simon completely off key for most of it. And then I was also able to remove Finn and Jake's "what is going on in there!?" segment.
This is based on the soundtrack version's backing track. Most vocals are from the soundtrack. The bit in the middle where Finn and Jake are supposed to interrupt is from the episode audio.
