i accidentally put on these songs back to back and thought they sounded sooo alike (makes sense since they’re both new jack swing) and i’m sooo happy with how this mashup turned out!! i hope you all like it too!!

-i enjoy adding lyrics to my mashups and imagine the two artists singing about the same situation so here’s what i thought about while making this!
-michael is reminiscing about a pat relationship and wondering what went wrong. newjeans are recounting this same relationship and going over how they first met and fell in love under the golden moon and diamond stars. michael wonders if his loved will ever take him back. newjeans are ambiguous about whether they would or not but finally decides at the end by giving him a second chance and uniting.
