Today's Video: Remedy Book Club | Forbidden Planet

Remedy stories have a certain vibe to them. Some have called it Lynchian, New Weird, Lovecraftian, etc. It is hard to put our finger on it exactly but we know when something reminds us of it.

There are lots of stories out there with a similar vibe. Some old. Some new. Most of which some of us have either never seen or they are so obscure that they are nearly forgotten to time.

Enter the Remedy Book Club! As an excuse to introduce new books, films, or games to both myself and the community we have started a little pet project on Patreon. Together we do a read through or have a Movie Night with the community and discuss the stories. After, I will be creating a full video to break down the narrative. More specifically how it relates to the Remedy Connected Universe and maybe spark some ideas.

Today's inclusion is the 1956 Classic, Forbidden Planet. A crew of a space-fairing vessel are tasked with investigation the crash of a science crew on an abandoned planet. The previous civilization left behind technology that transmutes thought into reality.
