Arguably the first of the remaster trend, so maybe we should have expected a few teething troubles... as well as some impossibly long video titles.

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars was released in 1996.
Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror was released in 1997.
Both were developed by Revolution Software and published by Virgin Interactive.

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Director's Cut was released in 2009.
Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror Remastered was released in 2010.
Both were developed and released by Revolution Software

Broken Sword Director's Cut and Broken Sword 2 Remastered are both available on Steam, GoG, OS X, iOS and Android.

Note that buying on GoG will offer an additional download of the original games running under ScummVM.
