In today's video I'm sharing my latest pages for the #ReluctantArtJournaler challenge in the Makers of Mixed Media Art and Artists Facebook group. I've been working across 3 different journals, each with a slightly different approach. The first two are built entirely with layered gel prints, lots of texture, color, and spontaneous mark making. I used scraps, pulled prints and layered backgrounds to create cohesive pages. For the third journal I switched gears and am working in watercolor. This one has a softer more fluid feel and shows how differently a page can evolve when using watercolor. The has been a fun way to compare approaches, loosen up, and keep art journaling.
