We’re partnering with @HoustonZoo to grow the number of endangered Houston toads.
Houston toads are found nowhere else in the world except a narrow range of east-central Texas. As one of the state’s most critically endangered species, these releases help population growth in protected places like Bastrop State Park.
The Houston Toad Recovery Plan is an ongoing effort to release Houston toad eggs to supplement the tiny wild populations.
