In A COURSE IN MIRACLES, it says “relationships are laboratories of the Holy Spirit.” We’ve all known happiness brought about by our encounters with other people.
On the other hand, relationships can also be feasts for the ego, where guilt and blame and attack and defense provide a steady stream of anxiety and pain.
Relationships are where we are challenged to make a fundamental choice: are we here to love, or to fear? Here to bless, or to blame? Here to give, or to get? In every moment, consciously or unconsciously, we make a choice what to do with our mind and thus experience in our life.
A powerful tool is to develop a “namaste consciousness.” Send your blessing to a person before you enter the room, write the email, or make the call. Set your nervous system to a frequency of love, and it will make all the difference. Proactively choose relationship heaven, and you will avoid relationship hell.
