Ive always thought Brinstar - Red Soil could sound like an Alice in Chains song. I put together this grunge style cover in my head years ago after getting that idea. I finally decided to record it just to see if I could do it. This is my first Metroid cover. This is also the first time Ive ever recorded a guitar solo. I had the solos pretty much written out in my head but Ive never tried playing them. This bridge is an original part that I wrote to tie everything together. I tried to film and edit the video to make it look like a 90s grunge music video as much as I could. It was a lot of fun recording this and I definitely want to improve more on guitar. Also this is my first video in 4K! Let me know what you think of this grunge style cover and should I do more grunge versions and of which songs?
