Relámpago del Cielo Grupo Folklórico is one of southern California’s longest running non-profit dance organizations of its kind. Established in 1975, Relámpago’s mission of preserving the traditional Mexican performing arts through music, folklore and dance still holds true after over 47 years.
Offering classes to children ages 3 through adult, as well as a Performance Company, Relámpago del Cielo is recognized as one of the largest folklórico dance organizations in the United States. The desire to enrich their own as well as their audiences’ pride and cultural awareness has earned Relámpago del Cielo Grupo Folklórico the recognition and respect of colleagues in the United States and México.
