Iraq has taken a major step to secure its borders and prevent FTF movement.
With support from Project GEMINI, the National Central Bureau will ensure access to INTERPOL’s databases is extended to 26 border points.
This project will provide significant assistance to the Government of Iraq, especially to the directorates within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, enabling officers to detect and detain any terrorists or criminals who travel to, through or from Iraq.
