I've only been a fan of ONEWE for about a month and half (or so), but I already cherish our precious guitarist/composer/lyricist/ball of fluff so much! π He's given us such good songs that I seriously can't thank him enough ππ» I wanted to post this cover as a gift to him and WEVE :)
"Regulus" was written by Kanghyun, based on the story of "The Little Prince." I've read the book and thought it was a very different and eye-opening kind of book, but I didn't really pay much attention to the relationship between the Little Prince and the "rose" until making this cover.
"It is the time you've wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important. Men have forgotten this truth, but you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. You are responsible for your rose."
When I recorded myself saying these words, I realized that for me personally, my "rose" is my music--my dream. I know that my channel is a small channel that gets little views, that my audience isn't that big--but it is the time that I've spent on making covers and instrumentals and building up this channel for 10+ years that makes it a valuable hobby for me. Like the Little Prince and the "rose," I sometimes get frustrated at making covers and having that sense of duty for keeping my channel alive, but in the end, it is my responsibility to polish what I value so that it will not tarnish and fade away ππ»
Since it is almost Thanksgiving Day, I wanted to thank every one of you guys that is still here with me and supporting what I do β€οΈ Your comments of encouragement really do give me the energy and desire to make more covers, and I really really appreciate you all π’
