There are few characters on TV that I find more charming than Bob’s Burgers very own Regular Sized Rudy. And I don’t think I’m alone, Rudy seems to be a major fan favorite, and based on how frequently he’s utilized in the show, I think the writers love him as well. Rudy didn’t join the cast until late season 3, but he instantly made a huge impression, and has since appeared in over 50 episodes, winning the hearts of characters and fans alike. But I think most importantly, Rudy has facilitated some of the most beautiful and nuanced storytelling in the entire show, not just through exploring the difficulties of his own life, but through the ways he’s helped other characters learn and grow.
