REGROOVED in conjunction with Goodgroove Records (UK), is fast becoming one of the most popular events around the globe with nights already in Australia, UK, & Italy. On Saturday, January 30th, the night finally touched down in Canada and Vancouver had the pleasure of hosting one hell of a wicked party!
Grounded TV was there to document the historical night and take part in an all out Funk Invasion! We snagged interviews with J-Roc, DJ Stickybuds, and DJ Wood, Canadas rising superstar nu-funk producers all signed to Goodgroove Records, and explore what this nu-funk sound is really all about.
We also meet the duo responsible for organizing Regrooved Canada, Vancouvers very own Funk Hunters, to find out why nearly 2-months later people are still talking about this night and ask the all important question: whens the next one?
