The Registry for the Advancement of Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson's Disease (RAD-PD) Patient Webinar was delivered to enrolled patients, physician investigators, participating sites, and other registry stakeholders on March 28, 2023. In the webinar, Joohi Jimenez-Shahed, MD, co-lead physician investigator, provides an overview of the pilot phase of the registry, including information about the history and rationale for a DBS registry, the registry design, challenges and successes faced during the pilot phase, what was learned, and the future of the registry. We would like to acknowledge the Michael J. Fox Foundation for the generous funding that made the pilot phase of the registry possible. We would also like to share our appreciation for the sites that made data collection possible and the patients that consented to the registry and committed to helping us learn more about DBS therapy for Parkinson's Disease.
