I randomly felt like checking out the Japanese release of the familiar V-Rally 2, and accidentally happened upon an exclusive car! This Subaru with Spikes logo adorning it (the publisher in Japan) replaced the Fiat 131 Abarth. Doing a run of Arcade Level 1 allowed me to show another difference, the 2nd stage (England SS6) seemed to have a lot less tree cover after the jump? Tell me I'm not going crazy...

Ill be honest, a Pontiac Firebird doesnt strike me as a competent rally car, but thats exactly why I like its inclusion in this game! The Firebird is the last car you unlock in GTC Africa and whilst being a bit of a rally oddity, I think its an intersting one to have. So here it is!
I have a bit of a backstory with this game: GTC Africa I initially bought as a kid years and years ago, naievely thinking it was a continuation of the Gran Turismo Series (GTC? GT? Must be related...) not knowing about different developers or anything, and since learning GTC stood for Global Touring Challenge and that its a Rage title I can sense the Wild Wild Racing roots in this game. Ill have to go get some cars in that game next...
