REGENT has made awesome progress over the past few months. Building and testing hardware in the real world is hard - so it makes it all the more sweet when things work.
We now have our drone Seaglider - Squire - doing fully autonomous operations and carrying payloads at military exercises. That represents a huge effort by our software and perception teams to get Squire reliably doing end-to-end missions itself.
We’ve also gotten our large platform - the Viceroy prototype - all the way up to takeoff speed at ~50 mph! The level of engineering precision, control redundancy, and safety architecture is just unbelievable.
And - in prep for our big next step of production - we opened our quarter-million sqft manufacturing facility. Right now its a big empty canvas. Soon we’ll fill it wall-to-wall with Seaglider production.
Team is rolling on all cylinders. Could not be more excited about what’s ahead.
