David Regal's Color Changing Knives DELUXE - A Custom-Made Six Knife Set

Some years back David Regal took the step to manufacture his own color-changing knife set. He already owned what were considered "good" knives, but he felt there were still things that could be done to improve the props. To make them a joy to handle.

The result?

"The best knives I've ever seen."
- Craig Petty

"I give this release a five-star rating... that is as good as it gets!"
- Nick Lewin

"These knives have gone in my close-up case to use in the real world for real people. That is my highest recommendation. "
- Norman Beck

The knives sold out. Many have inquired when they would be available again.

The time is now.

The new DELUXE set, made by the same manufacturer, contains two additional knives. The new knives include:

An un-gimmicked Swiss Army-style knife that can be examined at the routine's end.
A 1/3 - 2/3 knife that allows one to perform the beautiful slow-motion color change.

More about the knives:

These are not re-purposed existing knives. The knives were designed from the ground-up using original molds to hit the sweet spot that combines optimal weight, size, and shape. The result is a knife designed to perform the key move, with greater "effect area."
The knives do not look like magic props. They have a classic outline and appear to be the type of pocket knives one might find in a drawer.
Both textured and smooth surfaces allow the performer to identify the knives by touch.
The blades are highly polished but not brought to a razor's edge - a vital element in a routine that involves spectator handling and interaction.
BEST OF ALL...
At the climax of the routine a black knife changes into a red Swiss Army Knife... and it looks like a Swiss Army Knife. The shape is right, a logo appears in the traditional location, and the bolster and rivets suddenly vanish. It is more than a color change, it is a transformation of one type of knife into another and the moment is striking.

Details such as these are not achieved by taking the easiest roads. The result is a beautiful set of props that you will be proud to own.

Video instructions include David's complete routine along with additional moves and sequences that can be woven into your own presentation.
